The Lansing Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Lansing Alumni Chapter, were established as an auxiliary to support the vision and mission of Kappa, as well as foster a sense of community among Kappa wives. Since its inception, the Lansing Alumni Silhouettes have been committed to service, and sisterhood.

The charter members of the Lansing Alumni Silhouettes laid a strong foundation for the organization and remain pillars of this mighty chapter. Over the years, the Silhouettes have partnered with the Kappa’s to play a vital role in various initiatives. Signature programs include the Annual Silhouette Round-Up, which combines community building and service initiatives like gathering school supplies for local classrooms, and the Annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway, where the Silhouettes and Kappa’s partner to provide Thanksgiving meals for local families in need.

In addition to local initiatives, the Silhouettes have also remained dedicated to hosting events for visiting Silhouettes, participating in provincial and national gatherings, and fostering connections with other chapters throughout the province.

Throughout the decades, the Lansing Alumni Silhouettes have been led by a series of dynamic presidents and officers, each bringing their unique vision and energy to the group. These leaders have championed projects such as school supply drives and local family support, always embodying the principles of service and sisterhood.

Today, the Lansing Alumni Silhouettes remain an active and vibrant organization, keeping tradition alive with signature programs like the annual Valentine’s Date Night, featuring an evening of elegance, camaraderie, and unity between the Kappa’s and Silhouettes.

Through their dedication to Kappa Alpha Psi and the broader Lansing community, they exemplify the spirit of partnership, service, and camaraderie that has defined the Silhouettes for generations.
