The Lansing area Divine 9 (D9) presidents have partnered with the local AARP (formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons) to educate, and encourage, all eligible voters to exercise their constitutional right to vote on November 5.
Interested citizens can watch the taped segment on YouTube or they can watch segment on AARP’s Real Possibilities television show on October 29 @ 9:00am on WLNS and WLAJ; the segment will air on October 29 at noon ET on WOTV 4 Women.
Who are the D9?
The Divine Nine is the nickname of a group of nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations called the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). The D9 membership is made of four (4) sororities and five (5) fraternities.
